It’s hard to accept the hard truth when comfortable lies are all we prefer to hear. I have been there before! Bought all the “Left Behind” books by Tim Lahaye and others Yep I spent over £200.00 on them. Couldn’t wait for the next one to come out. Bought the films as well. But there were always niggling questions at the back of my head…. things that didn’t add up. For years, I ignored the doubts and went with the flow of pre-trib rapture doctrine. Once again, It’s hard to accept the hard truth when comfortable lies are all you prefer to hear.
But in recent years, I started studying the Bible for myself with the Holy Spirit (rather than “christian” books and commentaries) guiding me. It’s amazing how what you discover when you behave like a Berean (Acts 17:10) and search the scriptures for yourself. I have since undergone a paradigm shift into the truth. Like the guy Neo, in the Matrix I swallowed the Red pill. Better to know and embrace the Truth than to go with the flow of lies no matter how popular it is.
Narrow (tribulation) is the way that leads to life but broad is the way that leads to destruction. (Mt 7:14) At the end of the day, who doesn’t want to be caught up before things get really bad in this world? Besides we see things worsening every day and we have already gone through some difficult times especially here in Sierra Leone. Thank the Lord Jesus, today, Sierra Leone is declared Ebola Free! (7th Nov 2014).
Please remember that regardless of what we wish or convince ourselves to be true, our personal preferences will not change what God has settled in Heaven regarding the events that will shape our future and will inevitably become fact.
We can CHANGE all the words in the Bible all we want, but it STILL will NOT CHANGE the TRUTH! ANY BELIEF in that which is FALSE will NOT cause it to BE SO!
In view of that, the doctrine of Pre-Tribulation rapture sounded good to my itching ears, however is it what the Jesus said or what the whole Bible says?
Before I go on: I must say that I believe in the Rapture – in fact that’s my only and blessed hope. This article here is about the TIMING of the rapture.
Here’s some of what I discovered about the Pre-Trib rapture doctrine:
1. Pre-Trib Rapture Is Found No Where in The Bible But Mainly Based On Private Interpretation Of Scripture
The Apostle Peter makes it clear in 2Pet 1:20 “Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.” Even a die hard Pre-Tribber writer and leader John Walvoord (Author of The Rapture Question published by Zondevan) admits, there is NO SINGLE verse of Scripture that by itself clearly teaches the Pre-Trib Rapture.
However, we are told that like the doctrine of the Trinity, it is there. Now, reading Jesus’s Great commission (Mt 28:19-20) alone makes The Trinity plain to us as well as Jesus baptism where the Father, Son and Holy Spirit are present. For the pre-trib/secret rapture doctrine, there’s not even one verse that makes it plain like the above.
There are so many ASSUMPTIONS made on many key Bible verses and aside taking several texts out of context from a few early church fathers’ writings, one really CANNOT find any predominant, popular teaching that supports the Pre-Trib Rapture prophetic viewpoint in any era of Church history prior to the 1830s. I will not go into the history as in the end, it doesn’t mean that much, what God is saying through the Bible itself is what matters:
Some of the “twisted” assumed, dodgy concepts and phantom doctrines used to support Pre-Trib rapture doctrine include:
- References to “saints” and to the “elect” and “church”. For instance the coined term “Tribulation saints” (for those who become born-again during Tribulation) are not Christians or they are “second-class” citizens of heaven. If that was true then how come they get to reign with Christ in Rev 20:4?
- The Holy Spirit (Restrainer) is taken out of the way (2 Thess 2:7) – REALLY? The same Holy Spirit that was brooding over the waters (Gen1:2) before man was made – is “taken out of the way”? By whom? So how do the so-called “Tribulation Saints” get born-again when Jesus made it clear in John 3 that unless you are born of the water and the Spirit you cannot be part of His Kingdom?
- Greek word Apostasia used in 2Thess 2:3 is magically interpreted as “departure” of the church. No more “harpazo”. Every instance of the word “Apostasia” is used always with a negative connotation. How can we now use it for the rapture? Saying that the “falling away” of 2 Thess. 2:3 is really a pretrib rapture is tantamount to saying that the “rapture” in 2:3 must happen before the “rapture” [“gathering”] in 2:1 can happen. To me this is the height of desperation to explain away a false doctrine. The Truth is plain but all types of pseudo doctrines have to be invented to support the initial falsehood.
- Tribulation is the Wrath of God
- No one will come out alive through the tribulation
- Gospels of Mark, Luke and Matthew not written for the church (of course this eliminates Jesus view of the endtimes in Mt 24, Lk 21 and Mark 13)
- John in Rev 4 is a type of the church so when the text says “Come up hither” it means the church is raptured. REALLY? But we forget that John went up in the spirit (Rev 1:10) to receive this revelation and his body was still in cave or place where he had the encounter. Is the church going up in the spirit?
- Wedding Feast – Jesus will be celebrating with us whiles our brothers and sisters are suffering a horrible time in the tribulation.
- The First Resurrection – 1Cor 15 is about the first resurrection which is linked with the rapture in v 52. Thessalonians 4:16, 17 which says that the Christians living at the time of Jesus Christ’s return are not caught up UNTIL AFTER the “dead in Christ” are raised “FIRST”. Paul makes it clear in 1 Cor 15:26 that the LAST enemy to be conquered is death. If so how can the rapture happen BEFORE tribulation when more people die during the tribulation.
- The church is the “chosen/elect” of 1Pet2:9 but not the elect of Mt 24. How about the “one new man” of Eph2:15 God is building which comprises of both the grafted-in church and Israel?
2. Great Tribulation Is Not God’s Wrath. Tribulation Is Always Mentioned As A Positive Purifying Process/What Is The Purpose Of Tribulation?
Never in the Bible is tribulation viewed in the negative light with regard to the saints. It’s always an opportunity to allow the character of Christ to be built in us (Eph 4:13, Jas 1:2-4) which is the fundamental reason why we still remain on this earth even after we are born-again. To stand before Jesus a pure Bride without blemish.
The word “Tribulation” KJV is used 25 times in both old (4x) and new (21x) testaments. It can mean any of these words: Heb sarah/ sar sar – a tight place, tightness trouble (44), distress (8), affliction (7), adversity (5), anguish (5), tribulation (3), adversary (1); (73) Gk: thlipsis afflicted(-tion), anguish, burdened, persecution, tribulation, trouble
Jn 16:33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
In John 17:15 the Lord Jesus Christ Himself prays to the Father NOT take believers OUT OF the world but to protect them from evil.
2 Timothy 2:11,12 – “It is a faithful saying: For if we be dead with him, we shall also live with him: If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us:”
James 1 : 2-4 Count it all JOY, my brothers, when you fall into various temptations, 3 knowing that the TESTING of your FAITH produces ENDURANCE. 4 Let endurance have its perfect work, that you may be PERFECT and COMPLETE, lacking in nothing. …
Mt 7:14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow [to crowd (literally or figuratively); (thlib?) afflict, narrow, throng, suffer tribulation, trouble] is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
Persecution, divers temptations, tribulations builds the Christ character in us. Tribulation is not the wrath of God. It is also not the result of a faith failure. (1 Corinthians 4:11-12, 2 Corinthians 2:4, 6:4-10, 11:25-27) It was not the will of God nor the wrath of God that these things happened to Paul. Neither was it because his faith was weak.
Here are some of the things Paul went through: persecution, other forms of pressure, including anguish of heart, distress, many tears, hardships, calamities, sleepless nights, hunger from being often without food, thirst, exposure to the cold and the elements, poorly dressed, homelessness, labouring with his hands, three times he was shipwrecked, once he spent a night and day in the ocean. He endured danger from rivers, dangers from robbers, dangers in the city, dangers in the wilderness, and dangers on the sea. At some point, he came under such great pressure that he despaired of life itself.
So what did Paul learn out of these tribulations? He reported how God used the pressure to teach him how to rely more on God and less on himself (2 Corinthians 1:8-10).
Even John the Revelator (Rev 1:9 ) said he is our companion in tribulation. John was alive – not for lack of trying to kill him. They tried even to boil him in oil in Rome but it didn’t work hence why he was banished to the island of Patmos.
Here are other verses to look up on:
Deut 4:30, Mt 13:20, Rom 5:3-5, Rom 8:35, Acts 14:22, 1Thes 3:3-4 (if we know it before hand, it doesn’t come as a shock) Rev 7:14, Mal 3:2, Mal 3:3, Zech 13:9, Zech 13:9
3. Fundamental Lack Of Faith In God To Protect His Own. Precedents Of Deliverance In Tribulation in The Bible/What Does Escape Mean?
Do you believe in the power of Jesus to hide (Zeph 2:3) you here on earth as He did for Noah and Lot here on this earth even in the midst of judgement similar to the Flood? As in the Days of Noah…. was Noah raptured to heaven before the Flood?
Jn 17:15 I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.
After much honest examination, I realised that I desperately wanted to believe in the Pre-Trib Rapture, because I simply did not believe that God could keep me through tribulation and rapture me after the tribulation. (from Mt24:29) And if He chose not preserve me alive till His coming (unlike the 3 Hebrew men in the book of Daniel) I did not want to die for Christ! There I have said it and it’s the truth! That idea of “dying for Christ” goes contrary to the easy prosperity and “believism” prevalent these days.
It’s amazing how we admire the apostles and others who were matyred but we are not willing to shed ONE drop of blood for Christ. No wonder Jesus said, if we seek to save our lives we will lose and if we lose it for His sake we will find it. (Lk 17:33. Jesus means business. This verse is recorded 5 other times in the Gospels Mt 10:39, Mt 16:25, Mk 8:35, Lk 9:24, Jn 12:25) He also said when He comes will He find faith on this earth? (Lk 18:8)
In short, the Pre-Trib doctrine goes AGAINST the prevalent theme of those portions of the Bible that deal with tribulation and persecution. That prevalent theme is “preservation IN THE MIDST OF tribulation” as well as voluntary surrender of one’s life as a witness of Jesus Christ. In fact, previous occurrences of raptures / Translations in the Bible have nothing to do nor was it in the midst of any type of tribulation. – Enoch, Elijah, Jesus
Lk 21:36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.
Rev 3:10 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.
To the typical Pre-Trib believer, the word “escape” is what he notices, but note the rest of the verse… PRAY ALWAYS that you may be ACCOUNTED WORTHY… not everyone is considered worthy to escape and does escape mean rapture? I believe it’s preservation through tribulation then Rapture.
Let’s see the precedents:
- Noah – Lk 17:26-37
- Israel From Egypt
- 3 Hebrew Men
- Hebrews 11
- Destruction of Jewish Temple – not one Christian was killed. They all “escaped”– AND no one was raptured in AD70. Check the chronicles of Josephus
- Ps 91 – Psalms for God’s protection. Important for these times. You believe it, it is yours!
Most of us (true to our old nature) would rather not have our faith truly tried and tested. I mean who wants to be thrown into the fire like the 3 Hebrew friends or the lions’ den like Daniel in the Book of Daniel? Or be persecuted and made a spectacle of like our brothers and sisters throughout the course of history of the church and now even in Syria and Iraq?
And that is the main reason the escape mentality is so easily accepted today, not because it is true, but because it allows for the idea that a person will not have their faith tried by antichrist or other Christ-haters.
In fact, the mere mention of the Antichrist sends some Christians trembling hoping for a quick fly-way before the possibility of seeing him can happen. Why?
4. The LAST Trump/ Timing Of The Rapture/After Dead Are Raised/ How Many Resurrections?/A Second Chance?
There is nothing secret about the Rapture. Rev 1:7 “Behold, he COMES with clouds; and EVERY eye shall SEE him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindred of the earth shall WAIL because of him. EVEN SO, Amen”
The Rapture/ 1st resurrection will take place AFTER the tribulation (Matthew 24:29) at the LAST trump (1 Cor 15:49-54) If there is a last trump seven years before the seventh trump in Revelation 11:15, then THE LAST TRUMP of the Pre-Trib rapture doctrine IS NOT THE LAST TRUMP!
Pretrib Quote: “The Apostle Paul wrote about the “last” trumpet DECADES BEFORE John saw the SEVEN “judgment trumpets” of the Revelation. The Apostle Paul’s “last trump” was written in 60 A.D. John’s vision came 30+ years later–around 96 A.D. The Apostle Paul could NOT have known about the 7th and “last trumpet” of Revelation–BEFORE it was revealed to John on the isle of Patmos!” (From 250 Reasons for Pre-Trib Rapture)
REALLY? Wow is the Bible not inspired by the Holy Spirit? If so, is this about Paul or John? COME ON! Let’s leave childish arguments aside and look at the text for what it says. What we believe about the timing of the Rapture will shortly mean life or death. Literally.
Paul also ties the change-into-immortality “rapture” (I Cor. 15:52 1Thess 4:16 &17) to the post tribulation end of “death” (15:54). Will death be ended before or during the tribulation? Of course not! In fact, the Bible says death is the LAST enemy. (1 Cor 15:26)
How last is LAST? 7 years before last or really LAST?
Rev 20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and [I saw] the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received [his] mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. 5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.
So is the rapture part of the 1st resurrection in Rev 20:4-5 and 1Cor 15:49-52? If so then why are so-called “Tribulation Saints” part of the 1st resurrection? AKA rapture? Where does it say the first resurrection is in 2 phases? Or is based on private interpretation? 2Pet 1:20 “Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.”
Let’s see some more verses – the parable of wheat and tares in Mt 13
Mt 13:30 Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.
Mt 13:38-40 The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked [one];39 The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the END OF THE WORLD; and the reapers are the angels. (Emphasis mine) 40 As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the END OF THIS WORLD.(Emphasis mine)
John 6:39 “This is the will of the Father who sent Me, that of all He has given me I should lose nothing, but SHOULD RAISE IT UP AT THE LAST DAY.”
John 6:40 “And this is the will of Him who sent Me, that everyone who sees the Son and believes in Him may have everlasting life, and I WILL RAISE HIM UP AT THE LAST DAY.”
John 6:44 “No one can come to me unless the Father who sent Me draws him; and I WILL RAISE HIM UP AT THE LAST DAY.”
John 6:54 “Whoever eats My flesh and drinks My blood has eternal life, and I WILL RAISE HIM UP AT THE LAST DAY.
How End is END? How last is LAST?
2Thes 2:1-3 Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, AND [by] our gathering together unto him [RAPTURE],2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.3 Let no man DECEIVE you by any means: for that day shall not come, EXCEPT there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;(Emphasis mine)
Paul is talking clearly here that these 2 separate events will happen on the SAME Day: The Day of Christ. Rapture will precede the Wrath on the same day.
One can try to twist it but it’s there in plain English & Greek.
Mt 25:11 Afterward the other virgins also came, saying, ‘Lord, Lord, open to us.’ 12 But he answered, ‘Most certainly I tell you, I don’t know you.’
Where is the”left behind” or 2nd chance in this parable? We will not be given another chance. In the doctrine of the pre-tribulation rapture, there is a 2nd chance offered. In other words, those who are not taken with the first batch have seven years to get their acts together for the next round. This is a false teaching that puts believers in jeopardy of their souls.
There are no SECOND chances – Parable of the 10 Virgins, Wheat & Tares and in Mt 24:43-51 and several others.
5. Bible makes it plain that we will see the Antichrist / We are the Elect/ The One New Man / Who Is The Target Of The AntiChrist?
2Thes 2:1-3 Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, AND [by] our gathering together unto him [RAPTURE],2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.3 Let no man DECEIVE you by any means: for that day shall not come, EXCEPT there come a falling away [APOSTASIA] first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;(Emphasis mine)
One can try to twist it but it’s there in plain English/Greek.
In fact, the target of the the devil/ antichrist is clear in the verse below:
Rev 12:17 And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.
Gentile believers in Christ are grafted into Israel (Rom 11:24, Eph 3:6, Col 1:11-13 )
As believers in Him we have become part of His chosen people, Israel. We have not replaced Israel in any way or form, but are grafted into Israel as described in Romans 11:
Romans 11:17–21 But if some of the branches were broken off, and you, being a wild olive, were grafted in among them and became partaker with them of the rich root of the olive tree, 18 do not be arrogant toward the branches; but if you are arrogant, remember that it is not you who supports the root, but the root supports you. 19 You will say then, “Branches were broken off so that I might be grafted in.” 20 Quite right, they were broken off for their unbelief, but you stand by your faith. Do not be conceited, but fear; 21 for if God did not spare the natural branches, He will not spare you, either.
God is bringing together both believing Jews and Gentiles to make the “One New Man” of Eph2:15 – both Jews and Gentile Christians believing in the Messiah. Acts 15:14-17
Unfortunately, in this period, all Jews who are not born again through Christ Jesus are not the part of “Elect.” Please read Romans 11 and John 3 – You must be born again to enter into the Kingdom of Christ (no exceptions) and Peter (a Jew) in Acts 4:12 when speaking to a mainly Jewish audience made it clear that
Acts 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
One cannot be saved APART FROM or WITHOUT JESUS and this includes Jewish people too. I know this is not a popular doctrine but I am not about popularity, rather about what God says plainly in the Scriptures.
We so like to quote 1Pet2:9 about how we are the “chosen” generation, royal priesthood… etc… the same Greek word (eklektos) used for “chosen” is the same used in the verse below
Mt 24:22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s (eklektos) sake those days shall be shortened.
Can we pick one when it suits us and leave the other? Are we the “Elect/Chosen ones” unless it’s the tribulation then suddenly “the Elect” becomes only the Jewish people?
That said, will Israel play a major role these end times? SURE! Will Israel be judged for their sins? SURE! Will God defend Israel eventually? SURE! God has a covenant to keep – one He gave to Abraham and He will keep it regardless.
In fact, as I was writing this and pondering this thought, the Holy Spirit gave me more revelation. Jesus said in John 18:20 that He said nothing in secret. Nor did He do anything in secret.
Coming for His Church is the most important event for Christ. He has been waiting patiently for all the jigsaw to fall into place. When the time comes will He now do this in secret? The Rapture will be earth shattering event but glorious event for those taken up. This is an anti-gravity event and that alone calls for a lot of energy. Imagine a space rocket taking off silently? It’s not possible!
Does a grave opening near you be a silent affair? NO NO NO! Graves opening will cause mini earthquakes and chances are that spectator witnesses will run for their lives. Imagine a trumpet will sound. Pre-trib doctrine tells us that only the Christians will hear it. I beg to differ.
Not only will it be a noisy worldwide affair, Jesus said that at all eyes shall see Him and the tribes will mourn – Mt 24 from verse 29. They will see His Beloved Church being caught up and perhaps to meet Him in the air and hovering for a minute or two as they form His body….. wow!
PRECEDENT 1: Check out Mt 27: 52-54
Mt 27:51-54 And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent; 52 And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose, 53 And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many. 54 Now when the centurion, and they that were with him, watching Jesus, saw the earthquake, and those things that were done, they feared greatly, saying, Truly this was the Son of God.
From this alone we know that rocks renting, graves opening will not be silent at the Rapture. Have you heard of a quiet earthquake?
Another example is in Ezekiels vision. Ezekiel talks about the noise that occurred in the valley of dry bones that became flesh Eze 37:
Eze 37:7 So I prophesied as I was commanded: and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and behold a shaking, and the bones came together, bone to his bone.
7. The Fearful/cowardly will not inherit heaven
Rev 21:8 – AMP Version: But as for the cowards and the ignoble and the contemptible and the cravenly lacking in courage and the cowardly submissive, and as for the unbelieving and faithless and abominable [who are devoid of character and personal integrity and practice or tolerate immorality], and murderers, and sorcerers [with intoxicating drugs], and idolaters and occultists [who practice and teach false religions], and all the liars [who knowingly deceive and twist truth], their part will be in the lake that blazes with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.” (AMP)
Folks if you are looking forward to the Rapture not because you love His appearing but you are fearful of what the devil can do to your body, your life, your comforts, then the Bible says you are not fit to be in heaven. We love His appearing because He is our Beloved Bridegroom. We fight the good fight courageously whilst waiting for Him. And if it means laying down our lives then so be it. Do you LOVE His Appearing or are you fearful for your life? Jesus Himself said those who try to save their lives will lose it and those who give it up for His sake will save it.
With PreTribulation rapture doctrine, Christians who should be “…AS BOLD AS LIONS” (Pr 28:1) are goaded into fear for their lives. We hear phrases like “You don’t wanna be here” “it’s the worst time in history” and many more like that. What we don’t hear is what the Bible makes clear in Daniel and Revelation that “…those who know their God shall be strong and do exploits …” Dan 11:32
A line from the trailer is enough to demonstrate why the pre-tribulation teaching is so embraced: “He took them to protect them from the darkest time in the history of this world.”
This is what makes movies like Left Behind so dangerous. When believers go into the dark times ahead with that concept in their head, they will not be prepared. When people believe that they will not suffer, the presence of their suffering when it actually takes place will make them feel betrayed, confused and more easily deceived. This can be enough to force them away from their faith to embrace a worldview that keeps them “safe” in this life including taking the mark of the beast for which there is no forgiveness.
We are to be willing to give our lives for Christ and the pre-tribulation rapture teaching hurts a person’s chances of accepting their death if and when the time arises.
Jesus made it clear that suffering is part and parcel of the Christian life. And this includes false accusation, imprisonment ..etc including death. We are to lead CRUCIFIED lives! If we are dead to the world everyday of our lives, will it matter when our lives are taken eventually? The early Christians and those who went through the horrid inquisition knew this, so they were able to stand courageously and “…they loved not their lives to death”
The doctrines of men & demons will not help us through the times ahead. The lies of so many churches will NOT protect us from suffering.
If we teach false doctrine that keeps people from pressing in and going to heaven, we are partly responsible for their eternity in hell, which is why pastors/ teachers/leaders will get a stricter judgment.
Some believers excuse the film by saying that even if it’s a lie, it will bring people to the church. The belief that many hold, that a little lie that brings people to church is fine as long as they get to hear the Word of God, is damaging. Deception is deception. It is a black and white issue. The lie of the pre-tribulation rapture might do well to keep the pews full, but what good is it if the people sitting in them are ill-prepared to face what’s to come?
Mt 13:20 But he that received the seed into stony places, the same is he that heareth the word, and anon with joy receiveth it; 21 Yet hath he not root in himself, but dureth for a while: for when tribulation or persecution ariseth because of the word, by and by he is offended.
There is also the lie that “imminency” makes Christians holy. Well, if that was the case, why are so many in the church asleep and happy to keep on snoozing even when the alarm goes off? There’s hardly a difference between the evangelical church and the world in some places.
The Pre-Trib Rapture viewpoint, for the most part, seems to produce very BAD FRUIT – that is, it seems to have “neutralized” many Christians living today, causing them to sit back and to NOT fight evil. Both on their knees and in the natural.
We must be holy and endure to the end. It’s important that we re-read or even truly read for the first time what the Bible really says about these doctrines.
This is arguably the greatest deception that Satan has pulled off thus far.
