Sierra Leone At 50

Sierra Leone Golden Jubilee celebrations is underway. After the lauch at Country Lodge, the National Planning Committee of the 50th Independence Anniversary Celebration has undertaken a nationwide consultative tour, to ensure all sierra leone golden jubilee logo stakeholders are fully involved with the process and to solicit contributions. Districts and towns such as Koinadugu, Bombali, Tonkolili Kono Kambia, Port Loko, Moyamba, Mattru Jong,Pujehun, Bo, Kenema and Kailahun as well as Western urban and rural areas have been visited already in the latter half of 2010.

This year 2011, Sierra Leone at Fifty was kicked of at the Madengh Festival. I guess, the closer As 27th April 2011, approaches the more activities and events we will see. Honestly so far, I haven’t seen much yet… lets hope for more.
